Koquela's design is based on the traditional design of Tohoku used for Kokeshi dolls with more than 200 years of history. Our ancestors invented the design by abstracting nature surround them. The bold, sophisticated big flower design has "authentic beauty" from nature, which has something in common with Finnish design. 

With cooperation of traditional craft of Kokeshi dolls, we will reinvent the inherited transitional design in Tohoku and bring into modern life.
